The short version: we don't collect, store, or see your conversations. Your chats and plans live on your device, nothing is stored on our server, there are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. Craig never sees your conversations or plans.
When you send a message, your conversation is transmitted to The Universal Sandpit server solely to generate pixel Craig's reply. The server passes the conversation to an AI provider (OpenAI) to produce the response and returns it to you. Neither the server nor The Universal Sandpit stores your conversations or plans. Under the AI provider's API terms, message content is not used to train models and is retained only briefly for abuse monitoring before deletion.
Your current conversation and every five-step plan you build are saved only on your own device (in the app's local storage, or your browser's local storage on the web). Deleting a plan, starting a new chat, or removing the app erases them. They are never uploaded anywhere for storage.
Sandpit Talk asks you not to include student names or other identifying details in your conversations. The tool is designed for talking about situations, not identifying individuals.
